Sweetyne01 12 Posted November 18, 2012 I was sleeved on November 12th. I have pain on my left side of my stomach area that will not go away. Is this normal? I have tried gas-x, tums, heating pad, pas in medicine... nothing is helping.
desert19 93 Posted November 18, 2012 I had pain on my right side for a long time. I did talk with my Dr and he said it was just the healing and that it would eventually go away, which it did. I would talk with your Dr about it just to be safe.

BetterthanIwasb4 21 Posted November 18, 2012 Its probably gas...did your dr put you on prevacid or another similar med? If not you may want to try an over the counter kind....being sleeved just 5 days ago you still are dealing with a lot of trapped gas....but check with your dr to see what he says.... MammasMelting 35 Posted November 18, 2012 I was going to say the gas too...are you able to walk around for more then about 10 min? If not, try as best you can...that helps the gas to move through your body.
Sweetyne01 12 Posted November 18, 2012 Thanks everyone! I am trying to walk as much as I can. Hopefully it will get better because right now I feel like I made the wrong decision.. I know I didn't but I never imagined pain like this.
