Cracker Meth

Recommended Posts

I had tasted cracker meth at my child's School's Holiday Mart. It's plain old saltines made with this seasoning called The Original Savory Saltine Cracker Seasoning. I swear I thought one taste won't hurt...I had to walk away from the freaking plate....damn cracker meth! Here's the video...it's is disgusting how they are made...don't ever try them..I think I am gonna have to have rehab for this cracker meth addiction.

Hey Piplula,

Another little thing here for future habit on crackers, hmmm. The video didn't work sorry though, I guess I can look into youtube directly maybe.

So, from your last tid bit post I happened in on, I have taken to Tea's, I am starting to gather a few for my post op need and some now, the Youthberry Wild Orange Blossom is on the list, I have 4 oz. Teavana Weight To Go! coming in mail for Tuesday. I found that Oolong's are good for dieting, I rather like black tea's already and the Matte's are very much high quality at Teavana. Another company for this is Heavenly tea leaves, they have very fair prices but also most companys seem to have similar price for great quality and Teavana is better quality.

I'll look that you may post some more, Thanks.

Thanks for the info! I will check out your recommendations! I am really enjoying Teavana's maharaja Chai Oolong & Samuri chai mate. It's was a sampler they had and it is a delicious winter tea...reminds me of fall..would be great steeped with wine..I also bought White avurvedic chai...I really disliked this tea. The best description I can come up with is spiced grass clippings!

Lol, That's good to know, I thought of buying a white tea and saw that too.I got a sampler Samuri chai mate too but it came with a spoon. Unfortunatley my first order got ruined in shipping, they just replaced part and refunded the tea cost. The shipping was Amazon through UPS and they placed the tea with a 12 ct. ready drink Protein shake I got, I can guess the rest.

I will look for the Maharaja chia Oolong,

Thanks

Crackers are one of my weaknesses and unfortunately my sleeve likes them.

I have traded saltines in for Flavor Blasted Goldfish. One half of a serving is 25 fish and 70 calories. Not ideal but I can eat just a few and I'm good.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
