sdeb418360 5 Posted November 18, 2012 How much can you eat? 18 days out and can only get in about 2 teaspoons of mushies. Is anyone else getting in much more than that?
Mommy sleeve 16 Posted November 18, 2012 I am 11/2 and I can do 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and Soups but less of things like chicken or seafood mushed up. I can actually do a whole 11 oz Protein Shake if I try in about an hour or sometimes less but couldn't do that much with anything but Protein Shakes or Soup. Any thing thicker is about 1/3 to half cup 5-6 times a day
sdeb418360 5 Posted November 18, 2012 Wow......that's so much more than I can get in. Fear of throwing up stops me from pushing it a little further.

Ontheroadtoslim 1 Posted November 19, 2012 I was sleeved on 10/31 and it depends on what I'm eating as to how much I can get down. I can get a full Premier Protein shake down with no problem, about 3/4 scrambled egg, about two teaspoons of chicken or tuna salad, a snack cup of apple sauce and about 1/2 a chicken thigh. Definitely learning that small bites are better. If I hurry through it....it's coming right back up. I'm down 23 pounds so I have no complaints.
JenniferCS 7 Posted November 19, 2012 Hi! I was Nov 1 and what works for me is eggs. I scramble it to pieces ... Lots of Protein in eggs too! Egg drop Soup is good too. I also just tried mash potatoes - they r " heavy" so only two teaspoons or so I have. Was suppose to wait till end of week 3. , but I tried earlier.
WestTexasGal 15 Posted November 19, 2012 I was sleeved on 10/31 and can't have anything but liquids for three weeks (can't wait until Wednesday)! I've been getting in about 500 calories and pretty close to 60 grams of Protein each day. I'm relying on Protein shakes and unjury chicken Soup. Pretty boring, but its working. I lost 13 lbs in the 3 weeks of my pre-op diet and have lost 14 lbs since surgery. I can't drink a whole shake at a time though, I have to have at least a couple hours in between. Nurse Channie 11 Posted November 19, 2012 I was sleeved 10/29. I'm not having any problems, am on mushies. Can do about half a cup of food at a time. Sometimes I feel like I'm eating to much? I don't get a full feeling, I haven't felt sick at all. I use my little containers and just stop after that is gone.... HW 295 SW 283 CW 275 Chanda
