BabyHuey 44 Posted November 16, 2012 I am pre-op and will finally be sleeved Dec 17. It seems like it'll take forever for the day to arrive. Im sitting at the airport and thinking about all the things I can't wait to do. And being able to comfortably sit in a seat during a flight is one of the things I can't wait to do. Feeling like everyone is looking in my direction hoping I won't sit next to them as I walk down the plane is one of the worst feelings. What are some things you pre-opers or newly sleeved folks can't wait to do? 1 ivonneh reacted to this
Giselle3264 175 Posted November 16, 2012 I can't wait to cross my legs without having to grab my ankle and try to glue it to my knee. Also can't wait to go shopping and find something where either 1) they have plenty in my size or 2) alll the sizes are too big for me. 1 BabyHuey reacted to this
ivonneh 25 Posted November 16, 2012 I can't wait to wear smaller dresses and a nice pair of high heels. I also can't wait to be able to skydive! I just want to feel lighter and have the energy to be more active in general. My surgery is in less than one month and I am very excited. But I can't help feeling a little nervous also. 1 BabyHuey reacted to this
Ima Loser 197 Posted November 16, 2012 In addition to smaller sizes, actually finding clothes that FIT, looking better, etc, this morning I actually thought of something so simple it made my husband laugh... I seriously can not wait to use a regular size TOWEL.... of all things... Right now I either make do with the regular one or I use a beach towel! 2 BabyHuey and jbarrett0109 reacted to this

How great would that be. Looks like you have done a wonderful job so far!!! Congrats. :-) I go to Dr Kim in December.

I buy BEACH towels to use around the house because they are large enough for me. I hadn't even thought of the JOY of using just a regular sized bath towel.. My goodness...lol... 1 Ima Loser reacted to this
