I hate cooking - with a passion! Complicate things with a busy lifestyle, and it was always about fast-food or prepared foods. (Clearly, it's one of the reasons I ended up this way.) I have to learn to fix things on my on at home. Any good WSL cookbooks you could recommend that focuses on very simple and fast recipes?

Thanks!

Weight Loss Surgery Cookbook for Dummies

The Everything Post Weight Loss Surgery Cookbook

if a recipe gets too complicated and detailed :o i omit a couple of things, spices and stuff that i don't like

pre-op right?

might not be a bad idea to experiment with some recipes

good luck bud

I get most of my recipes online. They're free and I can usually find something that will work for me in a few minutes. I save all the recipes I like (that are also easy to make) to my Pinterest and that has been my cookbook. I find the recipes on my iPad when I'm in the kitchen. This is my board.

Btw, where in VA are you from? I'm originally from the Hampton Roads area, but I live in Chase City (in between South Hill and South Boston) now.

There is also a sight called "Bariatric Foodies". I got quite a few "easy" recipes from there.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
