catryem 14 Posted November 15, 2012 How often do you all jump on the scale? ? What milestones are you taking updated pictures? I took on day of surgery...and am trying to stay away from the scale until my follow-up appointment on 11/26. Thanks! Beth
Giselle3264 175 Posted November 15, 2012 This may TOTALLY not be for you, but I weigh every day. For me it's like driving. I don't know where I am if I'm not looking at where I'm going. I know it can be a problem for some but when I have a bad day, I need to see the damage, get over it and move forward. When I have a good day, I need that feedback. I should be taking more pictures, but I have a few group photos that show the change. I think that's going to be my only regret.
icon23 273 Posted November 15, 2012 I haven't had my surgery yet, but my plan is to weigh weekly and to take pictures monthly. I also plan to take my measurements (from my neck down to my calfs) monthly.
catryem 14 Posted November 15, 2012 Thanks for replying, ladies!...I want to look at the scale everyday!!! LOL I already don't believe the number I see, and its only been about 2 weeks! OOO good call on the measurements...I should do that too...GOOD IDEA
icon23 273 Posted November 15, 2012 Yeah, I will probably also do measurements when I stall, so that I can at least see some numbers going down (hopefully ).
PerfectlyImperfect 49 Posted November 15, 2012 Every Sunday morning. I weigh in, measure as take a picture. The weekly change is crazy. 1 catryem reacted to this
waldy43 4 Posted November 15, 2012 I weigh everyday and log it in a monthly calendar. I try not to let the daily weights bother me, I look for a pattern of loss and calculate my loss monthly. I measure myself monthly and I haven't been good about taking taking pictures. Good Luck with your plan. 1 catryem reacted to this
Izuri 428 Posted November 16, 2012 I weigh every day when I'm home. I didn't take almost any pictures until about 50 pounds down. I kinda wish I had. If I could go back and do it again I think I would take pictures about every 15 pounds and at every month milestone.
