soccermom1 0 Posted November 15, 2012 I had VSG November 7th, spent 5 nights in the hospital with nausea and vomiting. Ive been home a couple days now but I'm so weak. I drink 4 ounces of Water and 12 ounces if Protein Shake. Is that enough?? I'm so uncomfortable. When will I be able to cook for my family or feel somewhat normal? Strangefruit 179 Posted November 15, 2012 Sounds like you have only been out of the hospital for less than a week... Give yourself some time! You had major surgery... Can your husband cook or care for your family while you recuperate? If he cannot cook, have him get take out - you need to concentrate on getting better and getting your liquids and Protein in..this too shall pass.
