bandalyons83 46 Posted November 15, 2012 I am pretty sure this is going to sound weird but I have to ask. The past few nights I wake up after about three hours sleep and I am wide awake. Once I wake up I can't seem to fall back asleep because my arms feel weak. For some reason I have to roll my wrists every minute or so. I know it sounds crazy but it won't let me fall back to sleep. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
CJ's mom 28 Posted November 15, 2012 I'm waking up about every 4 hours or so. My problem is my back hurts from the constant pressure of not being able to turn on my side while sleeping. So I have to get up and move around some and by that time I'm awake. I wonder how many days post op we feel ok enough to sleep on our side?

And when i did go on my side i'd prop/support my belly with a small pillow so gravity didn't pull it down.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? When were you sleeved? Remember, during surgery they strap down your arms and wrists so they could be a bit sore. And weird sleep patterns are pretty similar after surgery. Try melatonin or call your doc for sleeping pills.
bandalyons83 46 Posted November 15, 2012 I was sleeved on nov 6th. So I am one week 2 days out. I do feel a slight weakness in my arms during the day too. But it is bad at night. Keeps me awake. Last night I finally took some pain meds and some melatonin and was finally able to fall asleep.
