jillb5 21 Posted November 15, 2012 I don't know, I have not had my surgery yet. I think it depends on how far out you are, and of coarse whatever your doctor says. But if it's all you can ingest at least your getting some liquid.< /p>
Mini Me Wanna~Be 56 Posted November 15, 2012 I haven't had surgery yet, the only thing I really know about watermelon is there is alot of Water in it so it can cause diarrhea. Im thinking if that is all you can handle maybe throw some unflavored Protein Powder in it so at least your getting some Protein. I would for sure call my Dr as there may be some other things going on. Good luck keep me informed on how your doing. Best wishes and prayers sent your way :}
ericgaults 1 Posted November 22, 2012 Watermelon is a fruit which has a lot of Water on it, good for Desserts and also for cleansing. You may ask your doctor regarding with it so that you can assure your safety,

fallingwhisper 187 Posted November 22, 2012 Definitely throw some unflavoured Protein in it, so that at least your body can get some protein even if you can't handle much else. I haven't had surgery yet, but I've bought some chicken Soup flavored Unjury, and there are a lot of good reviews about it. Maybe your stomach might be able to handle something warm? Tbrendon 36 Posted November 22, 2012 Watermelon has a high glysemic index so it spikes your insulin. Not one of the better fruits to try because of the sugar context
