Im already super nervous and my date is jan 7th. I visited a friend in hospital today who had her sleeve done one Monday. Same place i will go. She was doung great and her incisions were tiny and hardly noticable! Made me feel a little better. There is always that "what if" in my head about something goung wrong. But i always overthink and worry about nothing. Nerves will be the only thing stopping me, but i need to do this. I understand your freak out mode and the closer i get the more freaked out i get that im doing this!! Stay strong and the best of luck with your surgery!!

Well I survived It actually wasn't all that bad. Worst part was no one could get an IV started. I've always been a hard stick so to speak but this took 6 different people (finally accomplished by the anesthesiologist.

Mild on and off nausea if I try and sleep too long between pain and nausea meds.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
