CLOE 0 Posted October 16, 2006 1- Is there any way to stop having e-mails sent to you everytime someone respond to a thread you posted in? 2-For Dr. Cobourn patients. Has anyone ever e-mailed Dr. Cobourn at HIS e-mail address. I sent him a question I had, and I was just wondering how long it might take for him to respond? green 6 Posted October 16, 2006 At the bottom of each email are two addresses, one to unsubscribe to that particular thread, and one to unsubscribe to all of the threads
argon 3 Posted October 16, 2006 Ooooorrrr... in the thread in question, you can click on "Thread Tools" at the top of the page, and click 'unsubscribe from this thread". and if you never ever ever wanna get notifications of new replies to posts, go to your "User CP" (you know, where you edit your signature), then in the Control Panel, chose "Edit Options", scroll down the page and in the "Messaging and Notification", there's an area that says "Default Thread Subscription Mode". Yours is probably set to "instant email notification". Chose "do not subscribe' or "no email notification".... I'm sure they both do the same thing, so pick whatever you want! (p.s. I don't know all this craziness off the top of my head. I thought I'd seen something in the User CP once about unsubscribing, so I went looking! I personally like getting 20 emails from here a day, cause that's all I ever get! ) And #2, I have emailed Dr. C at his own address before, and I recall he answered very quickly. Can you find the email you sent, copy it, and resend it? Give it a couple days, and if no reply... email the nurses email address, and tell them to check his damn email! If nothing else, you'll have to buckle down and call him !
Wheezy 0 Posted October 17, 2006 Thanks Mandi, that info about e-mails will be useful for a lot of us. Here is my question. How do I post pictures that are not gigantuous? I once attached a photo on this site from windows, my pictures, and it was huge. This reminds me of work, we get a new batch of student every year for their internship. They are young and grew up with computers all their lives. Whenever I have a computer question, I always nab of them first. Sometimes they can be pretty handy. It almost makes up for them being pains in the derrière.
argon 3 Posted October 17, 2006 haha, well... I haven't had computer experience ALL my life. I actually remember 'finding out' about the internet in highschool, and I was quickly hooked! Must be my addictive personality! Do you have any kind of photo editing software on your computer? Usually the pictures you take right off your camera are reeeeally big, so you have to resize them. CLOE 0 Posted October 17, 2006 Wheezy, I kinda have a answer...lol. I just remember that when I was going throw the step of posting my pics(the steps I took off this web site). One of the steps was picture size, like dimensions or what not, but it also says 'best for web'. I just clicked on that, and it worked!! Hope that kinda helps. Thanks all for the unsubscribe thingy. Also, Dr. Cobourn, my hero, e-mailed back last night. I LOVE HIM!!!!
