I'm feeling like I could use a buddy to go through this with me! I'm starting to get anxious. I'm trying out a new support group in my area tomorrow. Raven21 121 Posted November 15, 2012 I'm currently scheduled for the 18th but I'm hoping to get it moved a week sooner. I'm also waiting for insurance approval (hopefully this week). Had my EGD yesterday, labs last week, stress test, chest X-ray and EKG tomorrow, then gallbladder ultrasound and the 3 hour info. class on the 27th. Have you been to the class yet? Lhollingsworth 54 Posted November 15, 2012 The program that I am in requires an orientation class, nutrition class, physical therapy class, 1-1 with NUT, psych eval and then finally meeting with the surgeon. My surgery is scheduled for Dec. 20, i am so anxious, excited, scared and READY... 5 weeks seems like a long time, but everyone keeps telling me it will fly by I have already had the blood work (12 tubes!), I hade an Echo and psych eval and one NUT meeting as a letter from her was required for my insurance approval. It took about 3 weeks to get insurance approval, my Next Dr. Consult is supposed to be the first week of Dec. and I was told I would not be on a pre-op diet...
