supporthalf 1 Posted November 14, 2012 Hi. My partner is scheduled for surgery in 4 weeks. I am doing the Optifast diet with him in support. I am also reading up as much as I can about it. With all that others have been through, could anyone please offer suggestions on how I can support him during both pre and post-op? 1 Marquel reacted to this

Wish I had that

Encourage walking. Be patient. Don't eat favorite foods in front of him. Remember that after a whole he'll be able to eat almost anything but really small portions. Be patient. CowgirlJane 14,260 Posted November 15, 2012 Don't bring junk food in the house. If I could get my family to follow that one thing... it would be heavenly. Instead, I get to walk by Cookies and crackers every single day....
