Yasmine 109 Posted November 14, 2012 Surgery went Great- Thank God! It was yesterday, Nov 12th at 2:15pm and lasted approx 2 hrs. Yesterday was very tuff on me... I was in a lot of pain and felt nauseous. I slept a lot and walked in the evening. Yesterday I could not have food or Water... But today they are giving me ice chips... Water and a little serving of Protein Shake. My serving sizes are smaller than a shot glass - 1 every 15 mins. My pain is much better today... and I have walked a few times. Warm plastic heating bags have been given to me to place on my tummy and a cold one for the back of my neck- And they help! I was told that if I tolerate my fluids well I will be discharged this p.m. Thanks Again... Good luck to all!!!

Yasmine 109 Posted November 14, 2012 Congrats & Good Luck... it's a great choice. In fact the nurse that attended me was sleeved 2 years ago and said it was the best choice out there... she went from 310 to 185 Sooooo inspiring!

Not a whole lot of pain...mostly just soreness in the left side of my abdomen. Also have a lot of crazy noises going on in my tummy! Lol I've been able to tolerate a Protein Shake and some Soup so far today. Water isn't a problem thank goodness. Glad you're doing well!
