sabrina4you 17 Posted November 13, 2012 Just curious, what would happen if you're not at goal but want to get new breasts?
Territravel 217 Posted November 13, 2012 Pretty sure your Surgeon will want to wait until your at goal. But If your going larger, I can't see why you should have to wait.
Threetimesacharm 1,400 Posted November 13, 2012 What would happen? You'd have larger breasts. 1 sabrina4you reacted to this
mesaucedo 207 Posted November 13, 2012 Like the others said, I think it would depend on where you are going with it. Reduction or lift? Wait. Enlargement? Maybe go for it. If you still have some weight to lose it is important to remember that your current breasts may completely deflate leaving you with saggy huge boobs. I have seen this so many times on WLS patients. 1 sabrina4you reacted to this
sabrina4you 17 Posted November 14, 2012 LMAO...I guess I should be more clear. I was at work typing the initial post and tried to hurry. Okay, So, I'm about 20lbs away from my goal. My breasts have taken a hit the last 20 or so lbs. They're not really that bad but are flattening out...if that makes sense. I know a lot of people say you should wait until you're at goal for at least 2 years to get your breasts done, either lifted or implants. I don't want to wait. I want to do it soon, maybe by January. I don't want to go huge or anything...just a really nice full natural looking pair of breasts. What harm could it actually do?

I had a goal of 150- and 6 months later, I'm there. I will wait 6 months for my Mommy makeover- and not another day! These boobs have GOT to go! This tummy..... HAS to go!!!! I called and scheduled for one year after my surgery- almost to the date, they were fine scheduling that for me :-) I think you'll be fine- but I'm not a Dr.
CamarilloCA 41 Posted November 19, 2012 I'm in the same predictament. I have lost 70 pounds and am at 135, but I could easily lose another 20 and be at 115, but 115 is going to make me look really really thin, and so a happy medium is probably around 120-125. I just don't know. I have to see what 115 looks like when I get there. These goals are all mine. The doctor never gave me a goal weight, and quite frankly, I don't think a doctor should tell a person how much to weigh. Anyway, I digress. My boobs are like mud flaps, and so I am looking into a reduction (removal of skin) surgery now. I am sure that, by the time it happens, I will be at my goal weight anyway. There is no way, however, that I would ever get implants again. I had those for 25 years before they ruptured. They are not meant to last a lifetime. Good luck to you! I say, "Go for it." 1 sabrina4you reacted to this
june13sleever 223 Posted November 21, 2012 Just because you are 20 pounds away from your "Goal" doesn't mean you will stop there. My surgeon's goal was 180. I am 161.
june13sleever 223 Posted November 21, 2012 Boob surgeries...like a lift...Doesn't hurt. Implants are a little painful. But if you are just getting a lift...You could go to work the next day. I had a breast reduction in 1999. It was like I didn't even have surgery. I felt no pain whatsoever. 2 CamarilloCA and lil lee reacted to this
