VitaleEM 44 Posted November 12, 2012 I am one month out and feeling sluggish and tired. In the beginning I had tons of energy and now this slump. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting all my fluids and protein! Doing everything right. Exercising, Vitamins, you name it. Is this normal? When will I feel good again?
IMABear 57 Posted November 12, 2012 Do you take B12? It is one of the recommended supplements and I believe has to do with energy.
Fiddleman 4,376 Posted November 12, 2012 Be sure to get regular. At one month, I bet you are just starting to struggle with this. Everyone works through regularity issues and blockage leads to extreme energy drain. Exercise, drinking lots of Water, and B12 supplements are also really helpful when dealing with energy issues. Finally, getting enough sleep will help.

VitaleEM 44 Posted November 12, 2012 I am taking my B12, I'm regular, and drinking plenty of fluids. I've heard some slivers experience this for awhile and then it gets better. I'm just wondering when the "better" part comes and how long this may last.

DEZ1975 170 Posted November 12, 2012 This is super normal. I'm 3 months out and still have sluggish days. At 1 month post op you're body is still using energy to heal. It gets better. 1 VitaleEM reacted to this
