carbgrl 119 Posted November 12, 2012 I seriously ate to much junk this weekend. ( I'm re-starting liquid diet tomorrow to help me get back on track). My question is after I ate a piece of cake it made me so sick. It upset my stomach, it made me "dump", heart was racing, headache, felt like blood pressure high, tongue & lips tingling. I just felt awful. Of course, I'm not used to that much sugar anymore but do you think it could be diabetes? I was never diagnosed with diabetes before but I never had trouble handling sugar like that. Anyone have any answers? Is it because my stomach is smaller and it hits your system faster? carbgrl 119 Posted November 12, 2012 Thanks Grammy. Definitely lesson learned. Although, I'm close to goal I have a long way to go to make life long changes. I still struggle with head hunger, eating slowly, sugar addiction, mindful eating. I probably should go to counseling but life is to crazy right now. I trying to work on it on my own. I'm reading a book on mindful eating right now. As you said, acknowledging I have a problem is half the battle. 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
