Painful bubble comes up in chest ..what is that??? Sometimes when drinking sometimes out of the blue..im only 2 days out.of surgery..i have no idea what I am doing

your surgeon or discharge nurse should have gone through how you would feel the next 2 weeks. that is a normal feeling only because we are still swollen down there and its a healing process.

i am going through the same thing so i wouldnt worry. i notice that the warm liquids and room temperature are going down much smoother for me. are you really concerned? if so i would call your surgeons office there is always a nurse on call to help. good luck to you! i was sleeved on the 6th

Hang in there it will get better. I was sleeved on Nov 5th and have so much less gas bubbles. I used heating pads, Gas X chewables as the Gas strips did not work for me. Also warm or room temp drinks and smaller sips....

I am glad to hear this is normal because I am 5 days post op and I have had the same problems which concerns me. I do well to get 20 ounces of Water in which concerns me. I am in fear of dehydration.
