Kristi64 33 Posted November 9, 2012 I am real concerned because I have sever allergies and need an antihistamine and decongestant on a daily basis, i was told by a pharmacist that I could use childrens liquid medicines but at my weight or even a normal adult Id be taking about a bottle a day and the cost alone would kill me. Does anyone have any suggestions...I cant go without my medicines living in Texas.
iggychic 1,405 Posted November 9, 2012 Benedryl is safe for sleevers as are many other allergy meds. Just avoid the ones with NSIDS (is that how it's spelled). Of which there are many OTC so you have to watch out for them. Have you tried nasal spray allergy meds? I use Beconaise AQ and it beats the heck out of pills. It builds in your system and cuts off all allergy response. No side effects!

iggychic 1,405 Posted November 9, 2012 Beconaise is old school (first one developed many years ago) but I find it works better for me than anything else, and for anyone I've recommended it to. I go 100% allergy free while on it (after about a week mind you when I start). I have never found it to wear off in effectiveness.
