Susie in Lima 320 Posted November 9, 2012 Hey all! Almost 2 months post op and I am feeling great, loosing weight slowly but surely and things are going good. BUT, I tend to have waves of fatigue that hits me that is becoming bothersome. Not sure if it is Vitamin deficiency related or not. It used to be more so at night time but I just got hit with one this morning. Usually I would go take a hot bath to help alleviate the symptoms but I cant do that right now so I guess I will pop some tylenol and see if that helps. Anyone else experiencing this? Other than that, things are great!
gmanbat 5,889 Posted November 9, 2012 Lack of sufficient Water is the main culprit, insufficient Vitamins and not enough food also plays in. I had many bouts of fatigue during my rapid unloading period. I decided that if I am tired anyway I might as well make it for a purpose. So I started hitting the exercise with a passion. I still had bouts of fatigue but less often and mostly because of the exercise. The muscle mass and strength gained makes the rest of my life more enjoyable. 3 Fiddleman, Susie in Lima and To Be Thin 2011 reacted to this

I do need to focus more on my Water I know that in my head, but as I sit here this morning I can honestly say I have only had one sip of water to take my meds with. I am still just trying to figure out the 30 minutes before and after and then I just truly forget. Gotta get a method of reminding myself to drink more often. I am so excited about beginning to exercise. My dr must be really cautious because I was only granted permission last week to begin exercise and only 5 minutes a day!!!! I was a bit frustrated, but I am doing my best to follow his instructions as closely as possible. I am just soooo ready!!! Thanks again! Ready to get going and leave this fatigue behind! 1 gmanbat reacted to this
To Be Thin 2011 80 Posted November 9, 2012 GREAT response gmanbat! It is incredible was lack of fluids can do to us sleevers! Fatigue, weakness, nausea, headaches, chills, head rushes, dry mouth, increased heart rate, muscle cramps and the list can go on. Some people the symptons will differ as everyones body is different, but the fact remains - Get your daily doctors recommendation/requirement of fluids! 3 Susie in Lima, Fiddleman and gmanbat reacted to this
gmanbat 5,889 Posted November 9, 2012 GREAT response gmanbat! I learned the hard way about Water. Before I was sleeved I went to the emergency room on 2 separate occasions and spent good money only to find out I was dehydrated. Dizziness and weakness were pretty intense and I thought it was something more, my normally high blood pressure dropped dangerously low. The best thing to do is set out your Water for the day, at least in your mind, and drink it. You need water to get rid of fat, too. You may have to carry a bottle around with you all day and trickle it in, drinking it all at once is not optimal. It's a small price to pay for the strength and weight loss afforded by staying wet and wild. 2 Susie in Lima and To Be Thin 2011 reacted to this
