windycitymom 60 Posted November 8, 2012 I feel bad habits creeping back into my world! (late night eating, mindless eating, overeating sugar etc) With all this candy around, it's hard to focus and on my goals. My kids would kill me if I got rid of the candy (and I don't want to deprive them so that they go crazy later on in life like I did) so I try to remove myself from it. Somehow, when I get back home at night, it is right there again, talking to me.... I am 8 mo post op and have a hard time getting a nice piece of fish down (I gag and get sick afterward) but carbs and sugar go down nicely. I've hit my goal however would like to lose another 5-10lbs for the "just in case I gain some" factor. Anyone have any great ideas?
Pinky Green 260 Posted November 8, 2012 Have them remove it from your site - maybe take it to their room. 1 windycitymom reacted to this
dexter 205 Posted November 8, 2012 First, you have very disciplined kids! Mine came home with only wrappers. But, that's what happens when teenaged boys go trick or treating. Second, have your kids hide their candy. Step out on the front porch while they hide it so you can't see or hear a general location. 2 Livinglifeout and windycitymom reacted to this

shastadaisy 20 Posted November 8, 2012 At our school they can donate it to the military - have them pick out a few of their favorites and ship it all off overseas... just a recommendation -
windycitymom 60 Posted November 8, 2012 Our dentist will buy it back for $1/lb up to $10 but they quickly decided that wasn't worth it for them. Thanks for the ideas.

I've never heard of that. What a neat idea! Sent from my iPhone using VST
