TwinsMama 483 Posted November 8, 2012 I haven't had surgery but I've found that if I deny myself I always do bad long term. Maybe instead of NO sweets you do a sensible/small desert once every two weeks. Then phase to once every month, then eventually only at certain events. desertmom 297 Posted November 8, 2012 I keep a couple of packets of Weight watchers 100 calorie choc chip mini Cookies handy just for days like that.Usually a packet like that is jus enough to satisfy the craving IF I EAT THEM SLOWLY.I have forgotten to slow down a few times and they were gone way too quickly to satisfy my craving. Now I enjoy them slowly! Nabisco also makes the 100 cal packs of Cookies.< /p>
DianaE 128 Posted November 8, 2012 the only other thing I can suggest is to go on a carb cleansing diet. I know when I eat too many carbs I tend to start craving them. If I go back to high Protein and get past the 1st set of withdrawals I do better. 2 doxieville and Butterthebean reacted to this

SunnyCox 245 Posted November 8, 2012 One of the perks of the sleeve is that it is SOOOOOOO easy to stick to my eating plan. If I get off track one day, it doesn't derail all my efforts like it did pre-sleeve. I also don't need as much of the food I am craving to feel satisfied. I will eat 3 bites of cheesecake and am happy!
