I go through phases where I feel like that.....when I feel like I can keep eating/ snacking... i kind of do but I chose veggies, lots of veggies!! raw, cooked, roasted, steamed, stir fried, you name it. I will also eat apples, air popped pop corn, etc. Try snacking on those if you want to snack. Thats been my key to maintaining my weight loss. (or losing weight)

Add chia seeds to your food.

How do chia foods help. I get hungry at about 3 hours and eat every 3 hours at 4 months out. I would prefer not to get hungry. I eat about 100-125 cals every 3 hours in some Protein end centered small meal.

Just check out the link. It's basically a "back to the beginning" 5 day exercise that will break you of bad eating patterns that you may have slowly slipped into. I tried it and broke a stall. Lost 5 pounds that did not come back after I began eating again. Some say it will restore restriction. It did for me, for about one day. But what it really did is make me realize how much I was snacking and grazing. I think that's its real affect.

I think it's a good exercise to do every once in a while if you're having trouble with cravings, excessive hunger or even just to break a stubborn plateau.

I have found myself getting "hungry" too (I think its really just head hunger).

I am drinking lots and choose Protein only when I feel ravenous. Making sure that I dont head right to the cinnamon raisin bread or the cheese-its is key- choose your Proteins & make them available.

I also make sure to track what I eat on those days- its easy to munch, munch, munch up to 2000 calories when you arent paying attention!

My go-to when I am a bottomless pit are:

  • endamame
  • beef Jerky
  • hard boiled eggs & mustard
  • pickles
  • shrimp cocktail
  • thick cut deli meat

I cant eat enough of any of the above to do much damage- endamame especially... a whole bag keeps me busy for hours and has no fat and minimal carbs & cals!
