Should Wls Be Performed At An Early Age?

I am 31 and will be sleeved next week. I knew about the lapband a few years ago but could never feel comfortable about doing that. The sleeve only came to my attention this year.

I don't know that I would have been ready to

do something like this in my early 20's. It's as scary as having a baby!

BUT I have never been bullied because of my weight (I was not overweight until 17) or had major health complications - yet. I think there could be circumstances where younger people (18 or over) might benefit from surgery. I think you really need to have your head in the right place to do this. It's huge.

And yes I do think obesity should be targeted at an earlier age. I look around me every day and so many people are overweight.
