i know what you are saying, lay on my back and go, were did they go?....found them almost in my armpit lol....honestly this exercise helps.....lay on your back on the bed, head almost on the edge, take 3-4 pound weights in your hands, raise them above your head and back, i do 50 reps 3 times......also take weights laying on your back, weights in hand a breast area, raise up and then down 50 reps....3 x it truely works

Thank you! Yep, I've already got two sets of love handles! I just didn't know how to get rid of that higher set! Ha!

probably any exercise that targets your pectoral (chest) muscles will help...at the gym it's called doing "butterflies"..you can do it with hand weights like saddie suggested too. I do them sitting up instead of lying down, and incorporate some bicep work as well. Hold your arms out in front of you with weights in hand, bend your arms upward towards your sholders (you can brace your upper arms on your boobs for this part if you want, this works your biceps), then with your arms still curled up, open and close your elbows to work your pects, squeezing your chest muscles on the "close" part. To tone the sides of my chest (gets your upper back too, think of the V-shape weightlifters get) I like to do "pull downs". This is hard to do at home unless you have an exercise band you can attach at the top of a door. Then you are shaping and toning your lattisimus dorsi...LOL What ever you choose make sure you start slow with light weights, no since causing yourself pain or injury!
