COsleeveDude 273 Posted November 4, 2012 I think you can definitely dehydrate overnight, especially if you live in a drier climate. I would never go 7+ hours without eating or drinking if I was awake. I try and take a few sips of Water if I wake up at night, and I drink a glass of Water right before bed and as soon as I wake up. Due to the climate here in Colorado I also use eye drops and chapstick before bed. I should probably use a humidifier, but the idea of spraying warm, germy water into the air all the time seems like a weird idea to me.

Butterthebean 8,146 Posted November 4, 2012 The first thing I do every morning is drink a big bottle of Water to rehydrate. You will lose some Water overnight, but it shouldn't be a dangerous amount. The more sugar you have in your blood, the more you will urinate during the night. So eating less sugar and starches, and keeping your blood sugar levels even will result in less water loss nightly.
