NCsleever63 53 Posted November 2, 2012 I had surgery on August 15th and I am down 37 pounds, which I really feel good about. I have not eaten a single piece of candy or surger since June and then....it's HALLOWEEN of course I bought way to much candy, and now it is sitting there calling my name. When I left for work this morning I brought a huge bag in for the office and I told my husband, do something with the rest of it, I do not want to see it. I totally have will power, I mean I have sat a huge Italian dinners and eaten only what I am supoose to, but between Wednesday night and this morning I have had 4 mini butterfingers, 2 packs (3 in a pack) of sweet tarts and if I am not careful I will have a partridge in a pear tree!!...I am hitting the treadmill double time tonight!! Anyone have any good ideas as to what to do to stop the Halloween, upcoming holiday rush of food? I am all ears. 2 Ms skinniness and aroundhky reacted to this
aroundhky 1,174 Posted November 2, 2012 Gotta watch that sugary stuff. Doesn't mean you can't ever have it, but maybe just make it a rare treat. With me, the longer I go without sugar and simple carbs, the easier it is to say no to them. But if I fall off the wagon and eat some, it's a bit of an effort for a few days to get rid of that craving.

Haven't touched any sugar in 6 months (2 months prior to sleeve). It is like smoking; don't ever start. Once you start, you just want more and more. Same is true with drinking alcohol. Best not to start and rediscover any addition behavior with regards to any of these. 1 Ms skinniness reacted to this
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted November 2, 2012 Yep, candy is evil! So evil! Gotta get away from the sugary stuff! I bought to much and made my husband take it to work. Forgot about the CALDRON we used to pass out the candy though. Will have my son put it in his room........No more candy for us.....
