I would like to know from someone that has been here too. I'm a huge texture person so it is very hard for me to puree anything. I have basically stuck with Protein Shakes & Soup. My NUT said that we should progress with our stomach just like a baby would. We need to get it used to eating thicker and thicker foods. I already feel that something like tuna salad wouldn't bother me but I haven't taken that chance yet.

The technical definition I was given is that if you put it in a cup, poke a hole with a pen at the bottom, it should drip through.

My NUT told me that it doesnt have to be sup er smooth, but no chunks. tuna and chix salad was fine to eat. It hasnt bothered me a bit. I broke down a turkey meatball and ate that fine as well. (1/2 of one) I just chew really really well!

Same here, I ate fish and chicken when I was on puree diet but I chewed really good. I was not going to put meat in a blender. I didn't have any problem. Since I've been on regular food I've only thrown up twice - once when I ate too much rice and once when I ate a chicken taco with corn tortilla too quickly.
