gmanbat 5,889 Posted October 31, 2012 coffee is the most important substance in liquid form next to blood. 3 lil lee, Fiddleman and FishingNurse reacted to this
Fiddleman 4,376 Posted October 31, 2012 i drink a latte every day and I have since about 6 weeks. My coffee use history after surgery is the same. I also have expressos and regular coffee ( not as often). That said, It is not advised to drink coffee before 5 or 6 weeks due to healing and dehydration concerns. My NUT actually said the only time we had to abstain from coffee was 24 hours prior to surgery.
slojo 150 Posted October 31, 2012 I also read it can delay healing and promote dehydration. I also drank it from day one because I didn't know this until I was about a month out.
