Dooter 1,457 Posted October 31, 2012 I tell you, I don't substitute a thing! I loooove my sushi. I can only eat about 6 or 7 pieces of a roll (depending on the cuts) and that teeny bit of rice has not set me back at all. it's just my carbs for the day mostly. That said....I only have sushi a couple times a month. It's a little pricey here in the desert! 2 chad2rad and Fallenangel2904 reacted to this
lil lee 46 Posted November 1, 2012 When I eat rice it feels way to heavy like if I swallowed rocks so no rice for me..

dexter 205 Posted November 1, 2012 My nut said to try sashimi next time I go out for sushi. I have yet to try it. But now it will have to wait until I'm post-op. 1 lil lee reacted to this

JoJo57 63 Posted November 12, 2012 My fav sushi restaurant makes a couple of rolls with no rice. These rolls have more veggies than others and are so so good. Just an idea. 1 lil lee reacted to this
RawrrAshleex3 137 Posted November 17, 2012 Sushi was my favorite food ever!! I was afraid I'd have to give it up.. At 4 months my nut said I could try it but make sure I was good with tastes n stuff to make sure I wouldn't start hating it. I tried it about 5 months in (at 6 today) and yuuuuuummy! I do however take half the rice off and I can eat about 3 thicker sliced in a 'meal' 1 lil lee reacted to this
