Maybe my nerves are acting up because I finally have a date, Dec 10th, but everything is running threw my mind....any advice. I'm scared of complications.

I felt the same way. A lot of serious thinking goes into this process. It is a real leap of faith for some of us. There can't be courage without fear.

Yes this surgery has a danger of complications, but at the weight I was 4 1/2 months ago I had a 100% chance of dying from heart problems (I was on meds for my heart, which I no longer take), or a stroke from high blood pressure ( also no longer on meds for this, stopped these 4 days after surgery), so the risks were worth it for me to get my health back since I'm only 47 and I was so tired of only being able to stay in the house and watch tv and eat myself to death! This surgery saved my life!
