The people at Syntrax are great, very nice, quick shipping too but I'm in the same state they are. I have to admit that I have not liked any of the samples I have tried. I don't like artificial sweeteners and that's all I taste when I drink them. I got a tub of Isopure unflavored and love it! No added sugar, I can make it taste any way I want.

Hi,

I don't really like the sweet, fruity ones too much but I love the chocolate truffle and the strawberry mousse. I also like the unflavored with crystal light. It gives me more options for flavors.

I think I am going to buy a couple of flavors and then unflavored. Unflavored is easy since you can hide it in a lot of things it sounds like

I put the apple in Fage fat free Greek yogurt. It was good. The crystal sky one tastes like sweet tarts.

I used 1T of raspberry sugar free Syrup in the Roadside Lemonade and that was good. There is so many things you can do with lemon flavor. I bought the iced tea, the lemonade and the chocolate truffle. Choc truffle with sugar free vanilla and steamed milk is wonderful. Like hot chocolate. Love it, but I preferred the fruity ones mixed in Water or ff Greek yogurt.

I guess I am not that creative lol. But I am learning (: I am asking for a ninja for Christmas too so I think that brings a lot of possibilities.

Thanks for the idea (:

Dexter,

I loved your special instructions for shipping. LMFAO

I just put that on my online order form from Chike Nutrition and I got the cutest drawing ever. It's a cat licking it's whiskers and winking! I clipped it out and put it on my fridge. What a hoot! I'm going to try it again. I have been amused all day over it so I guess it was worth the little bit of wierdness I felt when I requested it.

The employee must have gotten a kick out of it, too. Great idea and I thank you for sharing it!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
