OMG....ME TOO!! {gag}

And I absolutely cannot STAND it when someone refers to their child as "my kid". It sounds so trashy!! Now "my kids" inexplicably doesn't bother me. Go figure.

My husband will have a knot on his head if ever, EVER refers to me as his "old/ol' lady". Awful!

Let's just high jack this thread...I want a ruling..the word "moist" has way more grossitude than the word "hubby". Moist should only be referred to in baked goods..Or foods in general. If it is referred to in bodily reference, it is just downright gross or pornographic if you know what I mean...Moist..eeeeeeewwwwwwweeeeee!

Didn't we always used to say "DH" dear husband on internet forums when referring to he whom we are legally partnered with? What the heck happened to that?

I used to be really active in a woodworking forum a while back. Predictably, it was almost exclusively men on there. Many members referred to their wives as "SWMBO," which stands for She Who Must Be Obeyed. It was usually in reference to some tool purchase or future project.

Let's just high jack this thread...

First you set out to irritate everyone, then you just want to outright hijack the thread?? Sheesh! :huh::P

When I think of the word moist, I can think of only one, delicious thing: cake! LOL. Nothing better than a hot, moist, ready to be eaten pundcake! :D

I'm not a fan in any context. My wife and I once went to a diner that advertised its "Moist and Fluffy Omelets." I can hardly choke an omelet down now.

The only reason I love the word hubby is because It sounds a lot like the word we use to say "My Love" in my first language (ARABIC)...so for me when i am calling my husband hubby, it is like saying "My Love"...

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
