lizv123 389 Posted October 29, 2012 Is whey Protein good ? Haha not really. It's chalky and medicinal but if you mix it properly it's no big deal to get down 1 tabbymonroe reacted to this
LizInTexas 125 Posted October 29, 2012 It's the most absorbable form, but the taste can be somewhat, uh, disappointing. 2 lizv123 and tabbymonroe reacted to this
bakawaka 59 Posted October 29, 2012 It sounds like the description for whey Protein is just like the description for barium, which I found chalky and disgusting.
sunshyneqtie 73 Posted November 7, 2012 I really liked Syntrax Nectars and powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury. Try the sample packs to see what you like. Not chalky at all. Most pre mixed are yucky though.
Leleboo 104 Posted November 7, 2012 Chike is also good. The Syntax nectar double stuffed cookie is amazing.
sunshyneqtie 73 Posted November 7, 2012 I will try chike soon. As soon as I need a break from what I have. Sounds like most people like it.
suejersey 263 Posted November 7, 2012 I have been disappointed with Chike. I just got the sample and I find that they are very "frothy" I have been blending them in the blender with ice and soy or almond milk. Any other way people are making it that is not so frothy? Butterthebean 8,146 Posted November 7, 2012 Whey is the best form of Protein for VSG patients. It will help prevent muscle loss better than any other because it is absorbed so quickly, especially right after a workout.
