Yasmine 109 Posted November 1, 2012 My date is Nov 12th too... My liquid diet is going well- I just want to see the scale go down during my pre op. I am Soooooo excited to start this journey. I also have a headache and have even felt a little dizzy- but I am doing an exercise boot camp 45 mins every morning... Might not be able to continue throughout my 14 days because my energy level is getting lowered I am only drinking shakes- 800 calories per day... Not much fuel! 2 Soon2bsexi and MrsM reacted to this
Soon2bsexi 10 Posted November 1, 2012 I started mine today for surgery Nov 12. I only get 3 Protein shakes and lots of Water. I started walking a little too and lost 2 pounds today and right now it is SO not worth it as I am so hungry. I have found out today though that I'm not missing food or the flavor. I am simply missing the full feeling. Every time I start to get cranky or feel sad' date=' I watch this video on YouTube that says 100 before and after pics and that has been THE BEST help so far!!!! I just keep reminding myself that I am doing this for a reason and it is going to be worth every stomach growl. I am, however, miserable from the headaches. Come on November sleevers!!! We can do this.[/quote'] Great advice thanks friend 1 MrsM reacted to this
MrsM 31 Posted November 1, 2012 Yesterday (Halloween) was the worst! I did good on monday and tuesday but totally messed up yesterday. But I forgave myself already and am back on track today. I really do like my total lean shakes by GNC..they are starting to grow on me. The lst time I had the strawberry one, I was so disappointed it didn't taste like strawberry Quik! But I have a sinking feeling none of them do..haha SO I am going to buy a bunch more of those...they are already made which makes it so convenient to grab out of the fridge and drink in the car or whatever. I'm also gonna look for the whey Protein stuff some of you talked about for variety and when I have more time to dork with it at home. I just did all my pre admitting and am meeting the nutritionist later today. I'm getting excited!!!! C'mon November 12th!!
Dquarles 32 Posted November 1, 2012 Yesterday I totally fall off the wagon but I'm back on. I'm doing the vanilla shakes. I know the ppl at GNC are sick of me I think I have tried every Protein Powder in that store. With a receipt you can bring the product back even if it was used and I have taken full advantage of that policy 1 MrsM reacted to this

dlinnh 44 Posted November 1, 2012 Update on day 4 of liquid hell ! I think I made turn last night after complaining so much on this site about the liquid phase and then getting my head "in the game". I went on a clothing website of all the clothes I want to be able to wear and look good in. That is giving me the incentive to continue. I bookmarked the site. I managed three shakes today and had a cheese stick and Water. I also watched my coworkers devour pizza - which is not so great when you are only drinking these shakes and water. Four days down 10 to go - thanks for all the posts they really help! good luck everyone 2 MrsM and cmcl127 reacted to this
bakawaka 59 Posted November 1, 2012 What's a break down of what u are taking in???? Sent from my Samsung Admire using VST I drink a minimum of three Bariatric Advantage shakes a day. I'm allowed up to a maximum of 6 per day. Everything else is broth, Water, etc. I mix the shakes with low-fat soy milk. I also use a banana in the shakes (surgeon says that is okay to do). No solid foods allowed. 1 MrsM reacted to this
mezanne1401 190 Posted November 1, 2012 Only day 2 of the diet for me and lost 5 pounds. I stayed on track all day and for dinner I couldn't stop my cravings. I broke down and had a few slices of turkey and a pickle. I feel totally worthless right now and that is polar opposite of the satisfied feeling I was looking for. I will have to remember how this feels so I won't splurge again. Never thought some turkey and a pickle would be a splurge, that's for sure!! 1 MrsM reacted to this

I think it is very human to slip up while on a liquid diet. It's hard to be on a liquid diet. I pass by solid food and want to eat it. I fully empathize. 2 dlinnh and MrsM reacted to this
