Ready4success 380 Posted October 29, 2012 OMG! I have been struggling so much since last week. I'm 2 months out tomorrow, I've stalled again, and all the bad thoughts have invaded. They're saying, "You're not losing weight anyway, go have a few Reece's Peanut Butter cups, Kit Kats, and Hershey's bars. You have PMS, and it'll make you feel better." I feel sick to my stomach in thinking that I am messing up this opportunity. It's unbelievable how you can fall completely off of the program in such a short amount of time. I'm going to do Little Miss Diva's bootcamp for the next 5 days, and I hope I get out of this funk. 1 Ms skinniness reacted to this
HalfTheWoman 107 Posted October 29, 2012 I have been on a stall for 9 days and before that it was 2 weeks. I kept going up and down with the same 2 lbs and finally today (after 2 birthday parties this weekend) I am down 2 more lbs. I am not sure how this happens but I am just glad it does! I had candy, Cookies and cake this weekend (not in large quantities).
vonego82 36 Posted October 29, 2012 well you wouldn't be human if you didn't think those thoughts from time to time! just hold on because everyone here is on the same boat with you also, stalls are good for you. that means that your body is saying, "hey the heck, why aren't you feeding me 1800+ calories like you used to!" so your body holds the food and Water for a little longer to see if you are going to feed it soon. but stalls last usually 2-3 weeks after that you see a great deal of pounds lost appr. 7+ best wishes!! 1 Ms skinniness reacted to this
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted October 29, 2012 Why do we (including myself) beat ourselves up when we don't lose weight for a couple of weeks? Now that I look back, I realize that my body needed to stay at one weight (sometimes fluctuating up a 1-2 lb) so that we lose in inches. Now that is the best part of the journey! Losing inches! Please work on those old thoughts that sneak back in your head and focus on today by eating healthy nutritious foods that will also contribute to shedding those pesky lbs. Hide your scale, sit back and enjoy the journey to your your skinniness! It will happen sooner than you think... Trust me, it will happen...... Have a beautiful day. 2 traceyc and vonego82 reacted to this

Kind of like letting a kid drink too much at home. If you haven't had much I'm guessing it will make you sicker than a dog and possibly cure the longings???? I know I couldn't handle that kind of sugar right now (about two months out as well from the first surgery). Of course it could go down fine and backfire LOL Then you'd be all ticked at the iggychic But most people say sugar like that does not suit their sleeve so it's likely to do the trick.... I have been stalled for over 2 months on weight, but I am down almost 2 sizes in that time. Craziness! It took me some time to stop focusing on my scale so much and not freak out when it wasn't moving. There is a bowl of kit kats on my counter right now, been there for 3 days and I haven't had one yet. I know my sleeve loves chocolate and sweets.

I caved last night. I ate a lot of chocolate, and unbelievably, I got on the scale this morning and I've lost 5 pounds. I am a little sick from all the candy, though. Also, the scale finally moved. I love my sleeve...oh, and uh, I love Justin Bieber too! :-)

Some need to stay away forever, some can sample and be happy. I don't deny myself anything, though I have no desire right now for the Halloween candy (which is good cuz we give out yummy candy LOL...the old me bought them I think). Today I was at the bakery buying for our party tomorrow and they had a flourless chocolate cookie. I went ahead and had one because I wanted one The old me would have bought two but the new me enjoyed the cookie. It didn't sit well though...just kind of a blech feeling...nothing terrible. But it was harmless overall. I have decided I'm saving my extra calories for wine LOL Enjoy Justin...I'd have to drink a bottle or two before you'd get me there LOL
LittleRed30 38 Posted October 31, 2012 I'm pmsing too. it's been a tough week as i feel more hungry than before. I've increased my calories some this week but have not let myself eat any of my old favorites. I have indulged in a few glasses of wine over the past week but considering that i would have consumed just a month and 1/2 ago this is way better. Tomorrow is Halloween and I might allow myself a piece of candy (would be my first) but i'm not sure yet. I am hoping for any loss this week (thursday) with the increase in calories.
