Alex- I'm still getting the alerts also. I turned off the alerts while it's on lock so at least its not draining the battery. I hope the kinks get worked out soon. Good luck!

I have turned everything off in VST I possible can and the notifications are rolling in still. And the really bad part is that there isn't anything new showing when I look at what the notification says and what is actually in the forums. Think I may try dropping the app and see if it helps..although I have seen others say it doesn't.

Pipula, let us know if it helps. I am still getting notices but it has seemed to slow down since I went to settings and clicked 'no notifications when phone is locked.' Now I only get about 3 or so every hour when locked instead of 50plus.

The app has been updated across all iOS devices. This bug should be resolved and we've added support for iOS 6.
