REM 0 Posted October 29, 2012 Just a question... I had the VSG 3 months ago and still, everytime I eat, I get nauseous within 1 min. Does this go away? I tried Motillium and still nothing.

I'm 4 months out and still using Phenergan suppositories twice a day while mostly eating Quest Proten bars and yogurt fruit smoothies Not much real food yet. some of us take longer. It's hard to work through it Keep calling your dr.
E-girl 98 Posted December 17, 2012 You might be eating too fast. Do you get nauseous no matter what you eat or just certain things? My doctor gave me pills for that. It did go away after a few months but I would check with your doc about it. 1 iegal reacted to this
REM 0 Posted December 17, 2012 Thank you for the response. I guess I shouldn't be too upset. I am 5 months from surgery and I am almost at my goal weight. My doctor was very agressive with getting me back to food very early in the process and I see that many people at my stage are just starting food. I had a sandwich 3-4 weeks after mine. Yes, just about everything I eat does this within seconds of the first bite but it does get easier when I eat one bite, wait for the nausea to susbside and then continue eating slowly. No medicine seems to work and I am realizing that it might be a year or more before this gets significantly better. I guess it is just one of those things. Jen Matthews 0 Posted August 24, 2013 I had gastric sleeve done July 26th...with a few complications...I was having difficulty keeping any clew liquids down and ended back up in the hospital for 12 more days...severely dehydrated and seriously low potassium levels as well.....still had a trouble keeping anything down and after every test under the sun, it was found that my pancreatic levels are high. I am at home now waiting it out. I am being told to just be patient and that it will get better. This has been hell. I am on steroids, anxiety med, and two other meds for nausea...and just trying to rest.
