Heating Pad

Maybe this is a dumb question' date=' but couldn't a heating pad promote infection and/or slower healing? Maybe I'm in the minority here, but take the painkillers while you have the excuse.[/quote']

Oh wow...I thought of this too. I never got a clear answer. I could see an argument for (promote healing) and.arguments against (infection and extra swelling).

I used mine for my neck in the hospital. The pain meds and awkward beds gave me the worst headaches.

I'm using my electric blanket right now and it feels soooo good. Cozy and warm

I should have thought of this right after surgery. My back and shoulders hurt a lot after surgery.

Lol! Me too!!!! I had to buy a twin one for my side of the bed so I can unthaw when I go to bed!
