Byebyeband 8 Posted October 28, 2012 Hello all. I am new to this site, but was very vocal in my beginning stages with the band on lapbandtalk. I am having my surgery tomorrow morning by Dr. Zane at the Kaiser Harbor City medical office. I am both nervous and excited about starting my new journey. Who else has had their band removed and sleeved the same day. Anyone NOT have a pre op diet. Byebyeband 8 Posted October 31, 2012 I am home now and doing much better. The revision went well and I am officially sleeved!!!! Yay! The pain was pretty bad when I woke up, but the nurses were very good at managing my pain. I stayed over night and came home yesterday evening. Other than a bit of gas pain in my shoulder yesterday, I feel great! Big thanks to Dr. Zane and his surgical team and all you well wishers. slojo 150 Posted October 31, 2012 I originally was going to have the lap-band surgery but changed to sleeve 45min before the surgery, (at my surgeons advice), i'm glad I did.
