I think it is a great product but thought if I was going to spend that kind of money I wanted my fruits and veggies to be organic. But I have only heard great things about the product.

Hi! I know you will probably think I am bias, but I have been taking juice Plus for 2 years now. I was skeptical at first even though it made sense to me. I became a rep about 6 months ago and love helping people. Our product, even though not organic, is non-GMO, herbicide/pesticide and germicide free. We only use farmers with those standards. The product is encapsulated in Southern California and they give free tours. Once the fruits, veggies and berries arrive they have 4 check points that they go through to check for pesticides and so on. I use to get 3 to 4 cold a year and my daughter the same way. In the past two years I've gotten two colds and they have been so mild that I'm still able to function just fine. My hair and skin are much healthier and my daughter hasn't missed school because if sickness. What's really great is that when a parent/adult gets Juice Plus for themselves they can get the children's chewables FREE for 4 years. NSA, the company that makes Juice Plus has been around since 1970 and making Juice Plus for 20 years. Sorry for rambling, but I REALLY love what it has done for me health wise and financially. If you so desire please feel free to check out www.kfranzenjuiceplus.com and/or www.kfranzen.towergarden.com

We also just launched back in April the Hydroponic Tower Garden so you can grow your own.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
