I'm having a revision from a lap band and I'm so scared of what he's going to find when he takes the band off. I feel the same way as you!! Im like what if the band has done to much damage and now i cant get the surgery... Well if I cant get the surgery until afterwards I would rather be safe then sorry. So go and get it taken out at least that is start so you dont have to worry about any other complications, associated with the band. Im glad to know Im not the only one out there with this concern of scar tissue and the damange the band might have done.
