Such great news to hear of everyone's huge losses in such a short time. Would anyone care to share what your meals are during the day? I feel that might help other (and myself) speed up the weight loss process. Thanks!!

I'm a working Mom with an hour commute (1 way) to work. It is hard for me to get in several small meals a day. I rely on reduced fat string cheese, tuna (everyday) for lunch, I get the serving size package. You can get the flavored tuna so no need for mayo or anything like that. I eat a lot of rotisserie chicken, it is soft and easy to eat, low-fat cottage cheese, light Greek yogurt, and a great snack is beef Jerky -high in Protein. I've recently tried adding fresh fruits and veggies to my diet but I usually don't eat it because I'm so focused on saving room for Protein.< /p>

6 weeks out and down 39 lbs (9 pre-op). My doctor wants me to only eat 3 meals a day now but I still can't get down more then about 2 oz at a time...so I have been having 4-5 small meals a day. I am just not getting in enough nutrients with the three meals a day at about 2 oz each meal...best of luck to all

Oh I forgot...you want to know what we are eating. Sandwich meat, cheese, chicken, hamburger, cottage cheese, I am getting tired of eggs, some veggies and lots of fish.

I'm 5 weeks, down 38 pounds. For meal suggestions, befriend me on My Fitness Pal (www.myfitnesspal.com), I'm caldrich001. Many people in the VSG group have their food diaries open so others can get ideas. It's very helpful.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
