mandys84 9 Posted October 22, 2012 I was sleeved on October 15 so one week. I have been doing fairly well with diet and pain. It just still really hard to deal with fast foods and junk with my son. It's like everyone wants to talk about food and I can't handle that right now.
Tealover 46 Posted October 22, 2012 It gets easier. But why not use it as an opportunity to improve your son's diet? 1 Susie in Lima reacted to this
lynn37 6 Posted October 22, 2012 I'm with u!! It sucks my kids just brought home McDonald's.. and sat right in front of me and eat it.. I'm really not a big McDonald's fan but the food smelled sooo good.. I then thanked the kids for eating in front of me and their reply was Oh SORRY MOM WE FORGOT.. Ms.AntiBand 2,984 Posted October 22, 2012 This may be a great opportunity to discuss with your son the negativity of fast food and junk food. The last thing you want your son to go through is what you're having to deal with. If I could do it over I would never have allowed my family to touch half the food I brought into the house as they were growing up... Literally! Aside fom that.. I think this is a huge adjustment time and I wish you best and my prayers too
mandys84 9 Posted October 22, 2012 My son is 6. He doesn't get a lot of that kind of food it's just I'm like hypersensitive to the smell and thought of the food. I know I'll get through its just really hard right now.
