Pre Op Diet!

So today was the first day of my liquid diet.... It's not easy lol. I had my Protein Shake this morning and my Jello for my mid morning snack and I am starving. My surgery is Oct 31st and it cant get here soon enough. This is hard with a "normal" stomach!! Maybe I need some ideas of what we can eat pre-op thats on the liquid diet!! Help....

It is hard right now I know!!! But after the surgery it does get better. The worst is just the monotony of it all, so if you can get a variety of things even flavors, maybe it will help! Just keep telling yourself that this is only temporary and that before you know it, you will be sleeved and on the loosers bench! You can do it!!!! When you find yourself tempted to cheat, go do something, like take a walk or call someone who can support you. Really, you CAN do it!

This is my first Pre-Op Diet day too!!!! So far I've had a Strawberry/Kiwi nectar Protein Drink. I plan to have a powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury chicken Soup Protein Drink for lunch. Lots of Water throughout the day.... need to go shopping this afternoon to pick up the things I need until Surgery day Oct. 30th!!!

Any advice on types of things to get???

I bought a lot of low sodium broth, crystal light and sugar free jello! I have the Unjury Protein that i put in my broth for lunch.< /p>

This is my 8th day preop Protein drink surgery 29th after surgery 2 more wks of protein, after day 3 it get easier. Re shopping put pre op shopping in search some ideas will come up. Gas x strips,chapstick,kleenex,personal stuff for home liquid tylenol,bc I will hve Protein Drinks after surgery no real shopping re food needed. My doc has protein drinks in his office to purchase and I am glad I did. Good luck
