lala2012 13 Posted October 21, 2012 You can get a humidifier for your room at night. I just had nose surgery and didn't realize how much pain I would be in from the breathing tube they put down your throat, my WLS surgery isn't until next month. I also keep a bottle of Water by my bed so that when I wake up in the middle of the night I can take a little sip. Still, one night was so bad I slept with a damp wash cloth over my face to keep the air moist. It's been a little over a week from my surgery and my voice sounds horrible, the doc said some people's throats just take longer to heal after the breathing tube. Good Luck!
