gabby899 37 Posted October 21, 2012 Is it just me or as I am slowly losing weight my body is getting softer. I mean like where all my fat is, it is getting kind of soft and squishy lol is this normal? I don't mind at all, for it beats being so swollen all the time, I am 3 weeks post op and I am starting to notice my stomach isn't nearly as swollen anymore and my face, hands and feet are smaller. What about everyone else? Is the softness from fat breaking down or what exactly is it
ntaschner 3 Posted October 21, 2012 I noticed that too my body is getting softer your not alone on that I'm thinking its cause the fat is going away. 1 gabby899 reacted to this
lsereno 2,525 Posted October 21, 2012 I think it's the fat melting away under your skin. Now at goal, I'm bony, but skin is a little loose and soft feeling still. Of course, I just turned 56, so some loose skin just comes with age too. My tummy went from looking like a firm pumpkin to a kinda sqaushed overripe pumpkin to being pretty flat now that I'm at goal. gabby899 37 Posted October 21, 2012 do you have any hanging skin on your body or have you had plastics?
Slenderella 153 Posted October 21, 2012 I've noticed the same thing, I'm getting pretty soft. LOL! I'm thinking that some toning exercises will help. Must start that soon before I turn to mush. 1 gabby899 reacted to this
