I Have A Question About Going To The Bathroom

Recommended Posts

Lindsay, let us know what the ER says... For your own safety have them run a CT scan with iv contrast and bloodwork... Don't let them dismiss it as dehydration, even though you probably are dehydrated...you have something going on inside...time to figure out what so you can start healing.

You are important and deserve some attention right now.

You're in my prayers!

My name is Lisa. I'll talk with you soon!!!

And my name is Dawn. Please call your surgeon as well. You might need a barium swallow CAT and straight xray don't diagnose a leak as well especially if it's small. And xray though will tell you if you are having Fluid build up in your plural sac which is common with high leaks and can be deadly (thats the balloon your lungs sit in, they fill up with Fluid and it crushes your lung tissue causing shortness of breath and weakness).

And by the way...for the CAT be sure to INSIST on contrast die that is injected, not swallowed! (For the cat scan only...the barrium must be swallowed). The CAT dye is not recommended for sleevers delivered via mouth.

Insist that your surgeon be called immediately, tell her you will not do anything until they speak with him. Tell them that your stomach is swelled shut and you need help. If she cannot help you, get another Dr.

Do exactly as stated above. Demand another doctor if you must in the ER but get them to call your surgeon. If you have a cell you do it. They will have an emergency after hours line.

Stay strong. It's easy to be beaten down when you are this sick honey. Thank you so much for going to the ER! I was worried about you.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
