SleeveShelly 75 Posted October 21, 2012 I had my surgery on Sept 15. I was on liquids for one week, pureed for one week and then what ever I could handle. And I never had a preop diet either. Weird how so many dr's are different.

sleevelena 0 Posted October 21, 2012 Hey everyone! I had surgery on Tuesday, Oct 16th and my surgeon wants me to do Clear liquids for a full week. And then my booklet says full liquids for 3 days followed by pureed. Luckily I haven't been craving any food at all so far, but I'm really looking forward to starting full liquids on Tuesday. Right now I'm having trouble getting in enough Water. My urine is pretty dark, so I know I really have to step it up. I switched from Mio to a watered down orange juice instead, and that's going down better. Have a great day, Elena
justaboop 6 Posted October 21, 2012 Great job Jennie!! My highest weight was 301 lbs, my goal for surgery was 280 lbs, I was at 275 lbs day of surgery and today weighed in at 268! Last night was the best sleep I had, we even had an earthquake and I slept right through it....lol. I took some of the pain meds before I went to sleep to help me and it did the trick. Hopefully, you will get a good nights sleep real soon. Today I have the most energy I have had since my surgery on the 16th, think I may get out if the house Have a blessed day! That's what I did and never got dehydrated. Good luck and keep sip, sip, sipping
