Laying On Stomach

It's been 3 weeks since my surgery , I slept on my left side all night , woke up in pain , my stomach is sore, is this normal? Should I not be sleeping on my side , hope I didn't hurt my stomach. How long does it take to heal?

Yup. When I would lie on my left side my stomach would get sore too- I think it is perfectly normal. I found myself switching side to side more often and that seemed to help, especially when I laid on my right side it felt better. I am 7 weeks out and can finally sleep ON my stomach without any pain which is nice. But I think my stomach was sore up until 5 weeks. Hope that helps!

In the hospital I slept on my side and would switch sides every time I started feeling uncomfortable, which wasn't that often. I've been sleeping on my stomach since I was about a week post op. I had the single incision (one incision) where they only go through the belly button and recovery has been very easy. Hopefully you will start feeling better soon
